The Zaragoza-Pau Conference on Mathematics and its Applications (formerly, Applied Mathematics and Statistics) is usually organized every two years by the "Laboratoire de Mathématiques et de leurs Applications de l'Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour" (France) and the "Departamentos de Matemática Aplicada, de Métodos Estadísticos y de Matemáticas de la Universidad de Zaragoza" (Spain). It is held in Jaca (Spain), a pretty town in the Pyrenees, which is located halfway between the two universities.

The thirteenth Conference will take place from 15th to 18th September 2014. The aim of this international conference is to present through conferences, oral communications and poster sessions, recent results in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Algebra and Geometry. Applications in different fields are encouraged.

The thirteenth International conference Zaragoza-Pau will be the occasion to honor Jacqueline Fleckinger with special sessions for her 70th birthday.

The Conference will focus mainly on mathematical problems in the exploitation of natural resources and environmental impact analysis. Specific sessions will be held dedicated to these topics. Some particular sessions will be devoted to Algebra and Geometry.

A volume of the conference proceedings compiling selected papers will be published after a refereeing process by a scientific committee such as a "Monografía Matemática García de Galdeano" of the Instituto Universitario de Matemáticas y Aplicaciones of the University of Zaragoza.

The official language for this thirteenth Conference will be English.

As in previous conferences, this one will be held in the Residencia Universitaria de Jaca

Residencia Universitaria de Jaca.
